Default 7600 SLI Problems

I am having some wierd bugs with SLI setup. I have 2 7600 GT OC cards.

When in SLI mode certain objects in GW arnt appearing correctly. For example a palm tree in random arenas will appear to be a palm tree close up. Upon moving away from the palm tree to the opposite side of the arenas the palm tree will change into a rock for instance. It might also change into a bush, wooden beams, a different type of tree etc etc. It appears to occur when the tree changes from a high quality render, down to a low quality render.

Another problem is flickering objects. A couple of rocks near the vine bridges on Druids Isle will be flickering rapidly, or be in a slightly different place and jumping about. Yeah, its hard to describe. It does not occur with character models, and it doesnt seem to effect ground textures. It becomes an issue on maps like frozen isle, where the structure around the flag stand became superimposed on the sky when viewed from either guild lord.

So, I have the latest drivers, having no problems on other games. Anybody got suggestions for a fix?

Sounds to me like you are having a problem with LOD images, 2d representations that take the place of 3d objects at a distance. A lot of people with SLI and non-SLI sets(as well as ATI setups) were having this problem after the last major patch a month or so ago. I too had the problem with my dual 7600GS setup.

Solution, if you are using the classic nVidia control panel then go to your "Display Settings." Click "Advanced" and go to your mVidia/video card tab. Click on "Performance and Quality Settings." Under "Global Driver Settings" scroll down to "SLI rendering mode" and set it to "SLI antialiasing." Scroll back up to the top of the "Global Driver Settings" and "Antialising setting" should now be there. Set it to what you think your cards can handle. My setup is dual 7600GS as I said each with 512mb RAM. They handle SLI8x no problem with everything in GW set to high, you dual 7600GT should be able to handle that if not a higher form of SLI antialiasing.
